Normally orders received before lunchtime will be completed within 24hrs. Orders placed after lunchtime will be completed within 48 hrs. However please feel free to discuss at the time of booking the preferred time of delivery.
Decorative Gravel can be delivered in 1 tonne super sacks right to your door. However for larger delivers i.e. over 5 tonnes. Many people choose to have the Gravel delivered in bulk & tipped loose onto the chosen area.
The most common method of payment is by credit/debit card at the time of booking. However we accept payment at the point of delivery if this is more convenient.
It may come down to personal preference, however we recommend 2” – 2.5”. If the depth is more than 2.5”, car wheel tracks might start to emerge.
Gravel is commonly supplied in 10mm – 20mm size. For Flower beds & driveways the choice is really down to personal preference. However for Walkways we have learned over the years, than people prefer the 20mm Gravel. As 10mm Gravel can get stuck in your shoes and brought into your home.
Before Decorative Gravel is place on the ground, we recommend Mypex / Black Matting be placed on the area being covered by the gravel. This is an inexpensive & reliable way to keep weeds suppressed. We supply high quality Mypex in widths of 1m – 5m.
